T REX DR SWAMP 2-CHANNEL ELECTRIC GUITAR DISTORTION / OVERDRIVE EFFECTS PEDAL
T-Rex Dr Swamp gives you two great classic distortion pedals in a single stompbox, with two identical channels of classic distortion, each with its own On-Off switch. You can switch between rhythm and lead settings, or set Dr Swamp up to deliver two different lead guitar sounds.
The T-Rex Dr Swamp guitar distortion pedal is Like a Mudhoney with footswitchable presets. The T-Rex Dr Swamp pedal features two identical channels of classic distortion, each with its own ON-OFF switch. Hit the left switch and you’ll turn on the left channel. Step on the right switch and you’ll toggle from the left to the right channel. Both channels of the Dr Swamp have a GAIN, LEVEL and TONE knob. GAIN controls the level of distortion for the channel. LEVEL governs the overall volume, with 1:1 at 12 o’clock TONE lets you turn up or pull back on the edge of your distortion, for extra control over your own sound.
Gain 1 setting provides that magnificent Mudhoney fuzz while the Gain 2 setting is more like a classic British stack with tight low end response. Volume control is unity gain in the 12 o'clock position and provides up to 15dB of boost. Great for solos with enough gain to get that comfort zone with clarity.
The T-Rex Dr. Swamp was developed in response to a number of requests for a great sounding distortion pedal like the T-Rex Mudhoney, but that would allow the player to switch from one preset gain setting to another by simply stepping on a footswitch.
