Danelectro 56 Single Cutaway With Humbucker: The single cutaway Danelectro 56 electric guitar with dolphin nose headstock and lipstick humbucker pickup improves a classic Danelectro electric guitar manufactured in the mid-50s and sold via mail-order catalogues with a new humbucking pickup configuration and electronics.The Danelectro 56 electric guitar's 21-fret bolt-on maple neck features a rosewood fretboard and unique dolphin nose sahped headstock with six in-line closed tuners.

Dual lipstick pickups at the bridge position are wired in series to create a powerful humbucking pickup, plus a single lipstick pickup at the neck position. A 3-way pickup selector switch allows for dual coil humbucker bridge pickup in position 1, both bridge and neck pickups on in series in positionn 2, and lipstick neck pickup only in position 3.Other features of the Danelectro 56 electric guitar include a tradiditional bridge with a single rosewood saddle and a metal base with notches that hold the ball-end strings, white knobs on dual concentric tone and volume controls, matching seal pickguard, and double acting truss rod.
