Roland has expanded its already vast digital piano range with the new HP500 series, LX-15, F-120, RP301 and RP301R models. The HP500 Series (HP-507 and HP-505) features Roland's Supernatural Piano Sound Engine which has now been updated with Acoustic Projection technology, a built-in multi-dimensional sound system. Inspired by the flagship V-Piano Grand, Acoustic Projection accurately reproduces the natural sound field of an acoustic piano. It also includes an PHA III (Progressive Hammer Action III) Ivory Feel keyboard with escapement and Progressive Damper Action Pedal, an 'elegant and bold' design, an onboard LCD offers user-friendly operation with straightforward front-panel layout and energy-saving technology enables lower power consumption.The F-120 gives players 'authentic sound and touch in a space-saving, contemporary cabinet.' Roland's Supernatural engine is again onboard and it also offers an Ivory Feel-G keyboard. Compact and lightweight, the F-120's other features include dedicated front-panel buttons for piano practice, lessons, and performance, a metronome, recorder, and Twin Piano features for lessons or side-by-side performance. Satin Black and White finishes are available. The upright LX-15 is equipped with Supernatural engine with Soundboard Behavior, a multi-dimensional Acoustic Projection sound system, PHA III Ivory Feel keyboard and Progressive Damper-Action Pedal, making it an ideal instrument for experienced players and beginners at home. Its expanded piano selection includes modern grand pianos, fortepianos and harpsichords. In the entry-level, the RP301 is designed for students and hobbyists' skill building, with realistic sound and touch and a small footprint. Also with SUpernatural engine and Ivory Feel-G keyboard, the RP301 also offers a metronome, recorder and Twin Piano features. Available in Satin Black and Simulated Rosewood. Featuring 60 built-in rhythm accompaniments, the RP301R has a newly developed full-keyboard chord recognition engine, which allows the piano ti interpret and inject accompaniment in real time. Three playing modes – Pianist, Split Chord and Split Tone – can be accessed and the rhythm accompaniment can be expanded via USB.
