The PCR-800 USB controller keyboards provide more physical controls than previous models. The PCR800 also offers new innovative and intuitive controls such as velocity pads for playing drums and triggering sampler phrases. A new Cross-Fader controls two parametersat once for controlling synth filters or DJing. The PCR-800 is solidly built, and designed for both music production and live performance.
The Edirol PCR800 contains 61 wide dynamic range velocity-sensitive keys with aftertouch, both sustain and expression pedal connections, and sports 50 fully assignable controls: 9 knobs, 9 sliders, cross-fader, 18 velocity pads, 7 buttons, pedal switch, volume pedal, modulation lever, bender lever, velocity pad, and rotary encoder.
Edirol intelligent Dynamic Mapping and editor software assigns the PCR-800 physical controls to the software's most important parameters with 15 user memory locations for storing preferred setups. Manual configuration is possible when using software that is not compatible with Dynamic Mapping.
All In/Out connections are located on the PCR-800 left side panel, allowing the supporting computer bits to be placed behind the PCR-800 keyboard. The PCR-800 is USB bus powered, no external AC adapter required.
