Many acoustic guitar players consider the Fishman Rare Earth Single Coil pickup the most natural sounding of the Rare Earth series. The brilliance and articulation will appeal to single-coil fans. A single coil pickup is more susceptible to hum, so to minimize noise, keep the Rare Earth Single Coil away from fluorescent lights, dimmer packs, computer monitors, and transformers.

High powered neodymium magnets of the Rare Earth Single Coil mean low-profile mounting and excellent string to string balance. The preamp is housed within the pickup, and allows you to plug into a full range instrument amplifier, an unbalanced input of a PA system, recording console or DI box. Battery life rated at 300 hours. Easy to install with no alteration to your acoustic guitar.
