FISHMAN RARE EARTH BLEND ACTIVE MAGNETIC SOUNDHOLE PICKUP

The Fishman Rare Earth Blend is a removable active pickup for steel-string guitars combining a neodymium magnet humbucking pickup with a hypercardioid electret condenser microphone. The humbucker pickup captures the initial attack while the condenser mic's the sound chamber resonance for natural acoustic tone and power with projection. A Balance control wheel blends the humbucker and mic output, towards the treble strings for more pickup and towards the bass strings for more microphone.

The Fishman Rare Earth Blend pickup is easy to install on most steel-string, flat top acoustic guitars. The Rare Earth Blend low profile design ensures you picking style and acoustic tone will not be affected. The high strength neodymium magets makes the Rare Earth smaller and lighter than most traditional soundhole pickups.
