The Soundcraft MFXi8 8-channel analogue mixer featires a high degree of portability without sacrificing great sound or features. This compact Soundcraft MFXi8 mixer includes premium Lexicon effects, allowing you to get the most out of your mix without having to depend on racks of outboard signal processing. The Soundcraft MFXi8 mixer features eight of Soundcraft's highly-transparent GB30 microphone preamps, the same mic pres used on the larger Soundcraft LX7ii and GB series mixers. Additional features of the Soundcraft MFXi8 mixer are two Aux sends, two groups, a 3-band EQ, a handy, and secure Kensington lock.

When choosing a mixer, the amount of routing possibilities and input / output configurations are essential deciding factors and the Soundcraft MFXi8 mixer includes two configurable Aux sends, two groups, XLR and 1/4-inch jack connector sockets, RCA phono stereo playback inputs and record outputs, 3-band EQ on the two stereo inputs, TRS insert sockets, inserts on all mono outputs, ten-segment LED output metering, and a convenient headphone input.

The Soundcraft MFXi8 mixer's set of Lexicon 24-bit digital effects sets it apart from many mixers in its class, with two stereo channels and an effects send on each channel and 32 effects to choose from: reverb, chorus and delay complete with tap tempo . The Soundcraft MFXi8 mixer uses the same AudioDNA processor featured in many of the Digitech and Lexicon outboard effects processors including the respected Lexicon MX400.

Inside the Soundcraft MFXi8 micer, vertically mounted circuit boards and nutted pots provide premium performance and reliability. The Soundcraft MFXi8 mixer also includes a Kensington lock to keep it secure.

Soundcraft MFXi mixer input channels feature an effects send to the built-in Lexicon effects processor, along with 2 Aux sends for use with external processors, or to create a monitor mix. Soundcraft MFXi mixers include an additional stereo return to mix with its own level control. With no on-board Lexicon effects, Soundcraft MPMi mixer input channels replace the effects send with a third Aux send to send the signal to external effects processors.
