The Meinl CAJ1CA-M Carbon Finish-Matte Snare Cajon  snares touch the frontplate from the inside and delivers the classical cajon sound which is requisite in Flamenco music. Turn the knurled knob to adjust the snare pressure against the frontplate. The snare effect ranges between light/sensitive to very loud and the snares can be turned off completely.
