The Meinl CAJ2ELM-M Elm Wood Snare Cajon - Being able to equip a Cajon with fully adjustable snare wires is proof that Meinl's research and development is storming ahead in the worldwide percussion market. Internally the snare wires rest against the frontplate and provide that classical Cajon sound that is absolutely essential in Flamenco music. Turn the knurled knob to adjust the amount of pressure on the snare wires against the frontplate and wide a range of sounds can be achieved from light and sensitive to very loud. Also you can turn off the snare unit completely giving you that clean clear sound. The frontplate of this Cajon is made from the finest Elm Wood and is of the highest standard with regards to the sound and build quality.
