The Gon Bops Marimbula ~ This Marimbula is a traditional Afro-Cuban hand percussion instrumentdeveloped over 100 years ago in the Caribbean — although its roots can betraced back to Africa. The tunable metal keys are played with the handsor mallets to create resonant, bass kalimba-type sounds. The marimbula'sdeep, mellow tones are often used as a substitute for a bass inacoustic ensembles. Made in Peru frombeautiful Mohena, it looks as beautiful as is sounds.

All Gon Bops Cajons are proudly handcrafted by Gon Bops Artisans in Alex Acuña's homeland of Peru. Each Cajon is handcrafted from select indigenous hardwoods for studio-quality sound and optimal playability.
