Larrivee L-02 Acoustic Guitar: One of the best Dreadnought guitars you can get for this kind of money, the Larrivee D-02 is consistent with the very high standards that Jean Larrivee has set from the beginning of his company in the 1970s, and represents incredible value for money in anyone's book. The list of impressive features begins with the solid Canadian Sitka Spruce top and solid African Sapele back and sides that form the main construction of the guitar, and then continues with a three piece mahogany neck and Canadian maple binding. Sourcing local woods is one of the staple principles of Larrivee, and even on the more affordable models in their range (of which the 2 series is included) they stick to their guns. Manufacturing remains in the country of origin also, but yet they've managed to keep the price within sight of Guild, a magnificent feat. All Larrivee guitars are complete with bespoke branded hard cases.
