Eko Ranger 6 50th Annivarsary Acoustic Guitar

Having begun my musical journey in the mid 1970's, with an Eko Ranger, it is a delight to have purchased this 50th Annivarsay model. The fit, finish, look, feel and sound is amazing. Those who remember the originals will be surprised just how far they have evolved. Beautiful woods including body and neck binding, glorious mother of pearl inlays, so easy to play straight out of the case - which by the way is also a beauty - solidly constructed and plush lined with an annivarsay logo on the side. I would play this Eko alongside any of my high end guitars and it would easily be up to the task. Deep warm lows - strong mids and crisp top end sounds. Have I whetted your appetite? Get one now whilst they are still available. Highly recommended.

Too good to miss and better than top industry rivals

Having recently bought a 12 string 50th anniversary edition I had to find out if the 6 string version was just as good.

And it is.

The guitar itself has the same fantastic action as the 12 string incorporating a zero fret. It's lighter in weight than the 12 string and as may be expected has a narrower neck and shorter overall length. But just like the 12 string it plays like a dream and the full rich sound is usually only found in far more expensive guitars.

Once again I really like the light colouring of the body front an the mother of pearl inlays on the neck and bridge. The hard case is distinctively marked for the Eko Ranger VI just as the 12 string has its own badge on its supplied hard case.

I can only marvel at the fact that 2 years after the 50th anniversary I've been lucky enough to get one these. I'm stunned they've not sold much quicker.

As before Camden Sounds did their usual exquisite job and the guitar arrived boxed and packaged appropriately and safely within 2 working days of the order.
