Having started my musical journey 38 years ago with an original 1970's Eko Ranger, I was pleased by completing a circle by buying one of these new Eko's. I would compare this instrument favourably with anything costing 3 or four times the price. I now own several high end makes of American guitars and this 12 string stands up well alongside them. Extremely well set up on delivery it plays effortlessly and the sound is fantastic - Eko have scored a real winner in my book and if you remember the originals, always a decent enough sound, these new models blow them away. Well constructed, light, so easy to play - everything you would want from a 12 string - if they release one with a quality pickup in - i'll be there! Costwise - fantastic and if you purchased a case you would still have change from £500. Highly Recommended. Can I also say thank you to Steve at Camden Sounds who was extremely helpful with my purchase .
